As a Line Cook at the Tooth Company, you will play a critical role in the kitchen operations by preparing and creating delicious, high-quality food that adheres strictly to the company's recipes while accommodating customer preferences. This position requires close cooperation with both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and an outstanding dining experience for every guest. The Line Cook must maintain a clean and organized work area and rigorously follow all hygiene and dress code policies to ensure food safety standards are consistently met.

This position requires availability during evening hours (PM shifts), with both full-time and part-time roles available. Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Possess a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card or be willing to obtain one
- Availability for PM shifts
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift and carry 30+ lbs
- Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Self-motivation with effective time management skills
Job Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card or willing to obtain one
- Experience is preferred but not required as this is a teaching kitchen
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
- Basic knowledge of kitchen terminology and knife skills
- Ability to multitask and retain multiple called ticket items
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
Job Duties
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
- Extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- Read printed tickets carefully with attention to detail
- Accurately produce orders following recipe guidelines and ticket specifications
- Monitor temperature and cooking times while taking personal pride in every item delivered for service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely
- Proper handling and rotation of food according to food service codes
- Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a Manager
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
- Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
- Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed
- Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect
