We are currently seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team in Atlanta. This role reports directly to the Head Chef and is pivotal in maintaining our high standards for food preparation and kitchen efficiency. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with attention to detail, consistency, and taste. Every dish that leaves the kitchen reflects our commitment to culinary excellence, and your role is crucial in upholding these standards.

In this fast-paced kitchen environment, your ability to follow recipes precisely, manage time effectively, and maintain cleanliness and safety will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with other cooks and chefs to support smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities include daily preparation tasks, proper ingredient storage, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to ensure efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with a solid foundation in cooking techniques, food preparation, presentation, and food safety compliance. You will demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude that fosters a supportive work environment. Your dedication to following portioning guidelines and kitchen procedures plays a critical role in cost control and waste reduction.

Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, frequently lifting ingredients and equipment up to 50 pounds, and operating various kitchen tools safely. The ability to communicate clearly with both kitchen and front-of-house teams is essential to guarantee the timely delivery of high-quality food.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant kitchen experience
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • familiarity with food safety standards and ability to maintain hygiene
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
