787 Bar & Grill is a vibrant new Puerto Rican restaurant dedicated to bringing the authentic flavors, rich culture, and warm hospitality of Puerto Rico to the East Tennessee region. We are currently building a strong, dedicated kitchen team that takes pride in quality, consistency, and the creativity involved in preparing amazing food. The role of line cook at 787 Bar & Grill involves preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. Candidates will be responsible for setting up their workstations, maintaining cleanliness, following food safety protocols, and working efficiently during busy service periods. This is a fantastic opportunity for cooks who are detail-oriented and have strong skills in various cooking methods. Experience with Puerto Rican or Caribbean cuisine is a plus but not required, as we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn. The position offers a starting pay of $14.00 per hour and requires a minimum of 20 hours per week, making it ideal for individuals looking to grow their culinary career in a vibrant, fast-paced environment where both skill development and cultural appreciation are encouraged.

As part of the 787 Familia, you will play an important role in introducing authentic Puerto Rican cuisine and culture to the Tri-Cities area. The kitchen team works closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure customers receive high-quality meals promptly and enjoy memorable dining experiences. Our ideal candidates are professional, have a solid work ethic, and possess strong time management skills to handle multiple cooking stations simultaneously. The position also requires flexibility with hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and late nights, and the physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Job Duties
