The company is currently seeking dedicated line cooks to join their diverse culinary team. A line cook at Culinary Khancepts plays a critical role in executing fresh, high-quality menu items by preparing and cooking food within specific kitchen stations. This role requires strong teamwork, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, efficient cooking methods, and the ability to maintain kitchen organization and inventory. Line cooks are crucial in supporting the smooth operation of a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that every dish meets the standards of taste, presentation, and timeliness expected by Culinary Khancepts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • Food safety certification required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Handle high volume shifts efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry's best practices
  • Certified in food safety
  • Aptitude for multi-tasking
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift a minimum of 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
