Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a line cook preferred
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and take on challenges
Ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties

Learns all wok recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung's procedures
Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung's recipes
Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung's plating guidelines
Prepares and cuts garnishes for wok line items
Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
Attends monthly staff meetings and wok meetings
