The LINE COOK position at Windance Golf Course plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of the kitchen operations. This role is focused on preparing both hot and cold food items while ensuring adherence to dish recipes, quality standards, and portion control. The LINE COOK is responsible for executing food preparation and production duties with the highest levels of food safety and sanitation, strictly following guidelines mandated by the Mississippi Department of Health and national ServSafe® standards. This position requires an individual who is capable of working efficiently in the assigned station to produce quality food consistently and provide friendly and courteous service to guests. The role also involves assisting in food production when additional help is needed, ensuring that all culinary offerings maintain the established standards for taste, presentation, and timing. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or as a line cook
- knowledge of Mississippi Department of Health codes
- certification or training in ServSafe® food safety
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good physical stamina
