Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • ability to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently
  • compliance with portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
  • physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for up to 10 hours
  • clear communication skills with managers, kitchen, and front of house staff

  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot food products accurately and efficiently
  • prepare and portion food prior to cooking
  • perform final plate preparation including plating and garnishing cooked items
  • prepare appropriate garnishes for hot menu items
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently
  • communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house team members
