Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
  • capability to stand and move about for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • willingness to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently
  • compliance with company dress guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • ability to communicate clearly with team members
  • disciplined and self-motivated
  • friendly and able to smile while working varying shifts
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food preparation and presentation
  • keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action
  • adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies
  • safely and correctly operate all kitchen equipment
  • use chemicals properly for safety and cost control
  • ensure proper food storage and maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • prepare and cook all food items by recipe and to specification
  • control costs by following prep sheets to ensure freshness and reduce waste
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and station areas
  • clean kitchen mats, floors, walls, and drains
  • empty kitchen trash and maintain trash cans
  • assist other team members as needed
  • maintain favorable working relationships to promote team morale and productivity
  • maintain professional appearance and a friendly attitude
