Aiona is a bold new culinary destination set to open in March 2026 in the heart of downtown Sacramento. This restaurant celebrates the vibrant traditions of Mediterranean cuisine through the ancient art of wood-fired cooking. Featuring an open kitchen concept, refined dining spaces, and a world-class wine program, Aiona aims to offer an immersive dining experience that is deeply rooted in craft, fire, and hospitality. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
  • knowledge of cooking techniques and basic kitchen equipment
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • strong work ethic and multitasking skills
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Aiona's recipes and standards
  • maintain proper timing and execution for all dishes during service
  • rotate and stock ingredients, maintain mise en place, and prep items as needed
  • communicate effectively with chefs and FOH team regarding orders and special requests
  • maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
  • assist with opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned
