As a Heart of House (HOH) Line Cook at Twin Peaks Corpus Christi, you will play a crucial role in preparing best-in-class food for every guest who walks through the doors. This role is integral to ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and adheres strictly to safety and sanitation protocols. The HOH Line Cook position requires a disciplined approach to food preparation, detailed knowledge of prep recipes, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Teamwork is essential as the HOH Line Cook collaborates closely with other kitchen staff to meet the restaurant's high standards. Training is provided through modern digital methods, including tablets and computers, making it easier to master recipes and operational procedures. Job Requirements

  • Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Twin Peaks HOH training
  • Must successfully complete the HOH training program prior to working unsupervised
  • Must comply with cleaning and sanitation practices
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
  • Fingernails must be kept trimmed
  • No jewelry allowed on ears, face, neck or wrists
  • Clean shaved or well-maintained beards and mustaches
  • Hair must be kept clean and under the company hat
  • Must wear a clean, non-faded, wrinkled Twin Peaks kitchen shirt tucked in
  • Must not wear headphones or earbuds while on duty

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a line cook
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to understand prep recipes and line build procedures
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • Ability to attend and successfully complete Twin Peaks HOH training program
  • Compliance with local and state food and/or alcohol service certifications

Job Duties

  • Adhering to uniform standards
  • Adhering to prep and line build recipes
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
  • Ensure HOH standards, safety and sanitation requirements are followed at all times
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Train using tablets or computer
