Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
knowledge of safe food handling practices
willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Strong multi-tasking skills
team player
accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
prior completion of food safety coursework preferred
experience working in a busy kitchen environment preferred
knowledge of food handling and safety regulations

Job Duties

Operate cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers
prepare and cook food according to directives
verify quality and quantity of orders
plate prepared foods based on senior chef's guidance
work with servers to ensure orders are completed on time and according to request
adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
perform other related duties as assigned
