Job Duties

Rolls the dumpling/bun skin
stuffs the dumplings/buns
closes and arranges the dumplings/buns in the steamer properly
adds necessary meat and allergen identifiers
steams the dumplings/buns for the appropriate amount of time
cleans the dumpling room and the steamer station
labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
attends monthly staff meetings and Dumpling meetings
keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
lifts and moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables up to 50 pounds
assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
maintains confidentiality regarding all proprietary information including recipes and Standard Operating Procedures
