Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant
- Ability to work extended hours including late nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
- Ability to use hands to handle, feel, and reach
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to see both close and at a distance
- Ability to work in a moderate noise environment
- Culinary training preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred

- Must have two years experience working in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills able to communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances
- Proficiency in advanced cooking methods and techniques
- Mastery of knife handling and knife maintenance
- Understanding of different ingredients, their uses, and seasonal availability
- Ability to create balanced and harmonious flavor profiles
- Ability to manage people and resources to complete projects
- Ability to multitask and maintain order
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation
- Prepare food items by complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures
- Ensure that proper food temperatures are maintained
- Responsible for safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including shelves, walls, floors and drains
- Participate as a team player with specific responsibilities related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of products
- Maintain proper sanitation for all dining and cooking utensils and cookware
- Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury
- Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
