Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • one to two years experience as a cook's apprentice in a large, full-service hotel or restaurant preferred
  • ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
  • maintain applicable food safety certification
  • excellent work habits
  • professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • compliance with all policies and procedures
  • ability to maintain clean and sanitary work environment
  • reliability and consistent attendance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Interact effectively with the public and team members
  • perform excellent customer service at all times
  • prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food in kitchen preparation according to established recipes
  • collaborate with lead line cooks, dishwashers, supervisors, chefs, servers, and relevant team members to ensure smooth operation
  • maintain compliance with health and sanitation standards and all applicable laws
  • follow all recipes and control procedures
  • assist in all areas of food production as needed
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with state health regulations
  • maintain consistent and regular attendance
  • fulfill reasonable requests made by management
