Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to connect with others and work as a team
  • Passion for cooking and innovation
  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and stretching
  • Repetitive manual tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong work ethic embodying agility, curiosity, humility, integrity, sense of fun, and resiliency

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen
  • Passion for cooking and innovation
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Valid local and/or state Food Handler permit or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to learn and grow continuously
  • Strong knife skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Exude professionalism, friendliness and fun towards guests and fellow partners
  • Prep all ingredients and food products to fulfill prep lists, par levels, and recipe standards
  • Utilize various prep and cooking methods to ensure the quick, precise creation of menu items in accordance with recipes
  • Coordinate with other stations
  • Develop knife skills for efficiency and safety
  • Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner
  • Complete assigned side work and closing duties
  • Stock, clean, and organize line stations
  • Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds
  • Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately
  • Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures
