Job Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen
- Ability to connect with others and work as a team
- Passion for cooking and innovation
- Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and stretching
- Repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic embodying agility, curiosity, humility, integrity, sense of fun, and resiliency
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen
- Passion for cooking and innovation
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Valid local and/or state Food Handler permit or ability to obtain one
- Ability to learn and grow continuously
- Strong knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Exude professionalism, friendliness and fun towards guests and fellow partners
- Prep all ingredients and food products to fulfill prep lists, par levels, and recipe standards
- Utilize various prep and cooking methods to ensure the quick, precise creation of menu items in accordance with recipes
- Coordinate with other stations
- Develop knife skills for efficiency and safety
- Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner
- Complete assigned side work and closing duties
- Stock, clean, and organize line stations
- Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds
- Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately
- Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures
