Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen preferred
  • Food Safety and Food Handler certification required
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations
  • Ability to perform all Line Cook/Prep Cook job duties successfully
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
  • Ability to multitask
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen preferred
  • Demonstrated success in culinary excellence and food service hospitality
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations, restaurant and food safety procedures
  • Point of Sale (POS) knowledge and skills preferred
  • Food Safety and Food Handler certification required
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings

Job Duties

  • Ensure guest satisfaction through excellent food quality, preparation, and presentation
  • Follow recipe guidelines accurately during food preparation
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and tools knowledge and usage
  • Adhere to inventory and prep guidelines to manage stock effectively
  • Assist in special events food production and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with management to support restaurant objectives
