Currently, we are seeking a skilled cook to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for food preparation and cooking techniques. As a cook in our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our restaurant by preparing menu items efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for managing one or more stations, working with various cooking equipment such as fryolators, grills, ovens, and sauté pans. Reading order slips accurately and prioritizing cooking sequences to ensure timely service will be a key part of your role.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and reliable, with the ability to work cleanly and maintain a hygienic workspace continuously. Food safety is a top priority in our kitchen; therefore, a Food Safety Manager certification is required or must be obtained within six months of the hire date. Candidates should possess strong knife skills and be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Experience with sauté and expediting duties is essential to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

This role demands a genuine passion for culinary arts and the ability to handle the fast-paced demands of a busy restaurant. Reliable transportation and a working phone are necessary to ensure punctuality and communication within the team. Previous experience in cooking or related culinary fields will be highly valued.
