Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
  • ability to work weekends and varied shifts
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Fast-paced experience
  • ability to read and follow recipes accurately

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests
  • work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends

  • communicate effectively to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken directions
  • multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
  • follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels
  • maintain food safety and quality standards
