We are currently accepting applications for the position of Line Cook, a vital role in our kitchen operations. This is a part-time position with pay ranging between $21.00 and $25.00 per hour, designed for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and guest satisfaction. The Line Cook position centers on preparing food items following strict recipe guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team environment. As a Line Cook at Left Hand, you will be expected to participate fully in opening, running, and closing duties of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency. You will develop comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu including allergen information and dietary concerns to better accommodate guest needs and special requests. Adherence to health department regulations is imperative, ensuring safe food handling and preparation throughout your shift. The ideal candidate will have prior back-of-house restaurant experience and a strong work ethic. Kitchen Display System experience is a plus but not mandatory, and general food and beverage knowledge will benefit your role. Above all, a love of serving people and effective communication skills are crucial to succeeding in this dynamic position. Job Duties
- Engages Team Members and the Management Team in a courteous and professional manner
- Complete opening, running, closing duties as assigned
- Develops a full understanding of the Food and Beverage Menus and allergen and dietary concerns
- Prepares all food items to the recipe specs
- Understands food hierarchy
- Accommodates special request(s) when applicable
- Complies with all Health Department guidelines
