Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass mandatory drug test except marijuana and criminal background check
  • Active California Food Handlers Certificate or card required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend for 3 or more hours daily
  • Repetitive use of hands including grasping, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Exposure to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, temperature extremes, humidity, or wetness
  • Must perform all duties with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Active California Food Handlers Certificate or card
  • Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
  • Monitor and maintain the sanitation of kitchen and equipment
  • Follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains including proper storage
  • Utilize leftovers effectively and control waste
  • Take direction and be flexible to changing kitchen needs
  • Work as a team player in a confined space
