Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent
- Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass mandatory drug test except marijuana and criminal background check
- Active California Food Handlers Certificate or card required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand, and bend for 3 or more hours daily
- Repetitive use of hands including grasping, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Exposure to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, temperature extremes, humidity, or wetness
- Must perform all duties with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent
- Active California Food Handlers Certificate or card
- Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipes and presentation standards
- Provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
- Monitor and maintain the sanitation of kitchen and equipment
- Follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains including proper storage
- Utilize leftovers effectively and control waste
- Take direction and be flexible to changing kitchen needs
- Work as a team player in a confined space
