Oak View Group (OVG) is a globally recognized leader in the premium live entertainment infrastructure and services industry. Founded in 2015, OVG has rapidly become a dominant force with an extensive platform that spans venue development and end-to-end capabilities including venue management, hospitality services, and sponsorship sales. The company proudly operates across four continents, serving an impressive collection of seven world-class venues and providing services to iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions. This expansive reach highlights OVG's commitment to innovation, quality, and excellence in the live entertainment sector.

At the heart of OVG's operations is a commitment to delivering superior live event experiences that blend cutting-edge facility management with top-tier services to patrons. OVG emphasizes inclusivity, diversity, and a culture that empowers its employees to serve diverse communities with respect and enthusiasm. This core belief fuels innovation and strengthens the company’s foundations, helping it maintain its position as a trailblazer in the sports and live entertainment industries.

The Line Cook position at OVG is based at NBT Bank Stadium, located in Syracuse, New York. NBT Bank Stadium serves as the home of the Syracuse Mets, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, and is a prominent minor league baseball venue with a seating capacity of approximately 10,000 fans. Opened in 1997 and owned by Onondaga County, the stadium hosts Syracuse Mets home games, large public events, community activities, and promotions throughout the baseball season. It boasts modern amenities such as concessions, suites, renovated fan areas, and event spaces, creating a fast-paced and customer-focused work environment.

The Line Cook role is essential in ensuring that high-quality, fresh food is prepared and served in a timely manner to guests throughout the venue. Primarily responsible for preparing both hot and cold dishes according to company recipes and portioning standards, the Line Cook often interacts directly with the public, especially when preparing custom orders. The position demands a strong ability to work efficiently under pressure within a team-oriented, event-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation, health, and food safety, as well as adhering to all kitchen operational procedures.

This role is paid on an hourly basis, offering between $18.50 to $20.00 per hour. Benefits for part-time employees include participation in a 401(k) savings plan along with company matching. The role requires excellent attendance and schedule flexibility, as the Line Cook must be available to work during events as needed. OVG values diversity and inclusivity, ensuring equal employment opportunities for all, and cultivating a respectful and positive workplace culture. This position will remain open until August 14, 2026, providing ample opportunity for qualified candidates to apply and contribute to this dynamic team.
