Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- ability to operate large-volume cooking equipment
- strong attention to detail in portion control and food presentation
- capability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Ability to properly use all kitchen tools
- clear and respectful communication with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests
- proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
- ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- possession of a valid food handling certificate if mandated by state and federal regulations
Job Duties
- Responsible for cooking and packaging food products prepared to order or kept warm until sold
- receives verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
- maintains quality and production standards on all menu items ensuring food is fresh and high quality
- controls portion sizes and serving temperatures of all concession products
- cleans, stocks, and restocks workstations and displays
- operates large-volume cooking equipment including grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
- ensures work areas and equipment cleanliness, proper food storage, and sanitized utensils
- maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- demonstrates excellent attendance and punctuality as required by company standards
