This role requires proficiency in using kitchen equipment such as knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers. Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation is vital to uphold health standards and seamless operations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry
  • minimum of 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
  • able to communicate clearly with management staff
  • able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 10 hours
  • at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
  • all county required food and alcohol serving certifications obtained prior to employment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags
  • prepare foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station and working area
  • handle all products properly in accordance with health department standards and Snooze guidelines
  • ensure quality, food safety, sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served
  • be well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information
