We are currently seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This position plays a critical role in food preparation and cooking, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up and stocking necessary food items and supplies, preparing ingredients by cutting, chopping, mixing, and making sauces, as well as cooking food using various methods such as grilling, frying, and sautéing according to specified recipes. The ideal candidate will maintain cleanliness and comply with all food sanitation requirements by properly handling and storing food items. Additionally, end-of-shift duties include cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces to ensure a hygienic workspace. The Line Cook will also perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs, helping to maintain organized kitchen operations. This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, paying close attention to detail, and who are committed to teamwork and excellence in food preparation.

Job Duties

  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
