The Heart of House Team Member role at Chili's is a vital position within the restaurant’s operations, bringing energy and efficiency to the kitchen and ensuring a smooth shift every time. As a Heart of House Team Member, you will be expected to properly learn and execute all recipe procedures, maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen, and adhere strictly to company safety and sanitation policies. Effective communication is key, as you will coordinate ticket times with other team members to ensure food orders are prepared and delivered promptly. Prior experience in food and beverage service or preparation is preferred but not mandatory, as Chili's fosters on-the-job training. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment safely
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food and beverage service and preparation preferred
  • Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and other kitchen equipment
  • Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with team members
  • Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Job Duties

  • Properly learn and execute all recipe procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen
  • Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Communicate ticket times to Team Members
  • Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen
