Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in hot, fast-paced kitchen conditions
Job Qualifications
- Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Texas Food Handler certification required or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe after hire
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
- set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
- follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times
- communicate effectively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff
- assist with prep work, restocking, and closing duties as assigned
- work efficiently during peak service periods
- report equipment or food safety issues to kitchen leadership
