Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is a crucial member of our culinary staff, responsible for preparing and cooking menu items precisely according to established recipes and presentation standards. This role requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation to ensure high-quality food delivery during high-volume service periods. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff. The Line Cook must uphold food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times while contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen. Key responsibilities include prepping and stocking stations, assisting with closing duties, and reporting any safety or equipment issues. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential, along with the required Texas Food Handler certification or the ability to obtain it shortly after hire.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred but not required

  • availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Texas Food Handler certification required or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe after hire

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
  • set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
  • follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times
  • communicate effectively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff
  • assist with prep work, restocking, and closing duties as assigned
  • work efficiently during peak service periods
  • report equipment or food safety issues to kitchen leadership
