Job Description

A fine dining restaurant is seeking a professional Line Cook to set up line stations and prepare food to the chef's exact specifications. The Line Cook will play a crucial role in assisting the executive and sous chefs with daily tasks, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Job Requirements

  • Proven cooking experience, including line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Patient and able to stay positive under pressure
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift 50+ pounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary training preferred
