Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Cook or Chef
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
- Willingness to work Sun, Mon, Tues, Fri, and Sat from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Residency within the state of Texas as a condition of employment
- Successful completion of state-mandated employment screening process

- Experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting

Job Duties
- Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards
- Showcase flair for plating and presentation
- Maintain temperature charts and food safety records
- Adhere to sanitation protocols and quality control
- Notify the Chef of inventory needs and participate in streamlined kitchen operations
- Uphold Civitas standards in personal grooming and kitchen hygiene
- Assist in organizing the kitchen, food storage, dish room, and other culinary areas
- Ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system for optimal freshness
- Assist Chef Manager/F&B Director to grow kitchen efficiency and offer staff training opportunities
- Follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
