The Line Cook position at SWRG plays a crucial role in the kitchen by preparing and cooking food items in strict accordance with the company’s quality and service standards. The Line Cook must have a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to maintain consistency across dishes. Reporting directly to the Manager on Duty, the Line Cook works collaboratively within the kitchen team to meet the demands of a high-volume restaurant environment. Job Requirements
- must have at least 1 year of experience in similar position preferably in high-volume or fine dining restaurant
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must have weekend availability
- effective verbal communication skills and ability to read tickets
- ability to be on your feet for a full shift including use of stairs
- ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
- working knowledge of basic kitchen cooking and prepping terminology
- basic kitchen knife skills
