As part of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, the facility provides a dynamic environment that combines education, adventure, and commitment to animal welfare. This remarkable establishment not only focuses on animal care but also strives to deliver unforgettable experiences for guests from all around the globe. Joining the team at Discovery Cove means becoming part of a mission-driven organization that values passion, dedication, and teamwork.

The Ambassador role at Discovery Cove Orlando is an exciting opportunity designed for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals eager to make a meaningful contribution. Ambassadors at Discovery Cove serve as vital links between the guests and the park’s mission by offering exceptional customer service and supporting daily operations that include special events and food production coordination. This multifaceted position requires a high level of energy, commitment to quality, and the ability to seamlessly manage food preparation logistics for large groups. Ambassadors may assist in leading operational tasks in the absence of chefs or management, further underscoring the leadership opportunities available within this role.

Responsibility areas include overseeing menu preparation for special events, adjusting food quantities based on guest attendance, procuring ingredients, and ensuring food is cooked and presented to the highest standards. Ambassadors utilize their culinary skills to prepare and monitor the cooking process while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards, including passing relevant food handler exams. In addition to the technical aspects of food preparation, the role demands a strong customer-focused approach, requiring Ambassadors to address guest needs, provide positive interactions, and contribute to a welcoming park atmosphere.

Working at Discovery Cove as an Ambassador offers an engaging work environment where no two days are the same. The fast-paced nature coupled with seasonal and special event-related tasks means the role is both challenging and rewarding. This position encourages the development of communication skills, teamwork, and leadership while working alongside a diverse team from various cultural backgrounds. Ambassadors have the opportunity to enjoy flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and night shifts, making it an ideal position for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings.

Overall, this role is more than just a job – it is a chance to be part of an extraordinary team dedicated to animal care and guest experiences, where hard work is recognized and rewarded. With a focus on safety, professionalism, and guest satisfaction, Ambassadors at Discovery Cove Orlando play a crucial part in sustaining the park’s reputation as a premier wildlife destination.
