Job Duties
- prepare and cook Thai and Vietnamese dishes according to standard recipes
- execute wok cooking, curry preparation, sauces, soups, stir-fries, and noodles
- maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
- assist with prep work: chopping, marinating, sauce preparation, and batching
- follow café food handling and cleanliness standards
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep stations, and storage areas
- follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
- ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients
- assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- work closely with head chef and kitchen manager
- support teammates during rush hours
- communicate ingredient shortages or equipment issues promptly
