Job Requirements

  • at least 1 year of line cooking experience
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • willingness to obtain a Food Handler certificate
  • valid driver's license if applicable
  • basic knowledge in all kitchen work areas
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to follow recipe cards and operate POS system

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year of basic line cooking experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living facility preferred
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • ability to accurately follow recipe cards
  • strong attention to detail
  • knowledge of kitchen work basics
  • willingness to obtain a Food Handler certificate if required
  • valid driver's license if applicable

Job Duties

  • assist in preparing a variety of delicious meals
  • ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
  • receive and stock deliveries with proper rotational practices
  • provide support to the kitchen attendant as needed
  • accurately follow recipe cards
  • operate a Point of Sale (POS) system
  • maintain strong attention to detail
