Job Requirements

  • at least 1 year of basic line cooking experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living facility preferred
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • must possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handler certificate as required
  • valid driver’s license required if applicable
  • basic knowledge in all areas of kitchen work
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to accurately follow recipe cards
  • ability to operate a Point of Sale (POS) system

  • assist in preparing a variety of meals
  • ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
  • receive and stock deliveries with proper rotational practices
  • provide support to the kitchen attendant as needed
  • follow recipe cards accurately
  • operate a Point of Sale (POS) system
  • maintain basic knowledge in all areas of kitchen work
