Job Description
WeldWerks Brewing is a rapidly expanding, locally owned craft brewery situated in the historic downtown area of Greeley, Colorado. Known for its commitment to quality and innovation, WeldWerks Brewing utilizes state-of-the-art brewing equipment combined with premium ingredients to produce unique and original craft beers that honor traditional brewing methods and embrace modern experimentation. Since its inception, the brewery has been driven by five core values: dedication to quality, honest transparency, earnest candor, operational autonomy, and personal growth. These core values form the foundation of a workplace culture where team members are encouraged to flourish both professionally and personally. Recognized by its staff as a great place to work in 2021, WeldWerks Brewing continues to pursue significant growth and expansion opportunities looking forward to the future.
Within the brewery, the tap room acts as a crucial touchpoint for visitors and craft beer enthusiasts, often providing their first opportunity to experience the WeldWerks brand and offerings. Enhancing this experience is "The Annex at WeldWerks," an onsite restaurant concept dedicated to mirroring the brewery's dedication to quality, innovation, and culinary creativity. The restaurant pushes boundaries on food experimentation, reflecting the same passion found in the brewery's beers. The company is looking to hire a Line Cook who will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and operational efficiency. This position is non-exempt, reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour plus participation in a tip pool.
As a Line Cook at WeldWerks Brewing, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing menu items according to the Head Chef's quality standards, performing prep and station setup duties promptly, and maintaining rigorous cleaning and sanitation routines both during and after shifts. The role requires effective communication and teamwork, including inventory management and addressing station needs to support seamless kitchen operations. Furthermore, strict adherence to food safety guidelines and proactive engagement with health and safety issues are vital components of the role. The Line Cook will be encouraged to cross-train across all kitchen stations to ensure flexible and competent performance across various culinary areas.
WeldWerks Brewing values team members who are more than just employees; they seek dynamic, creative individuals who contribute actively to team improvements, demonstrate flexibility, engage passionately in continuous learning, and operate with integrity under pressure. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within a company that prizes innovation, quality, and personal development. Candidates must be 21 years or older, able to work weekends and evenings, possess reliable transportation, and be capable of standing for extended periods while handling physical demands such as lifting up to 55 pounds. Moreover, the candidate should be willing to complete ServSafe certification within six months of hire and attend mandatory trainings as required.
WeldWerks Brewing provides competitive compensation and benefits, including health insurance with 100 percent paid employee coverage, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, a health savings account, a 401(k) retirement plan after one year, and paid time off and sick leave. This position also qualifies for the company’s tip pool, which in 2025 delivered an average of an additional $3 per hour, enhancing overall earnings. WeldWerks Brewing is committed to diversity and equal employment opportunity, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive workplace free from discrimination on any protected basis. The company encourages applicants to submit resumes that focus on prior experience while complying with Colorado law regarding the redaction of sensitive personal information. This role promises a fulfilling opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about quality food, craft beer, and working within a vibrant and supportive team environment.
