Job Description

WeldWerks Brewing is a dynamic, fast-growing craft brewery located in the historic downtown district of Greeley, Colorado. As a locally owned and operated establishment, WeldWerks Brewing has made a name for itself through a steadfast commitment to quality, innovation, and community engagement. The brewery operates with a state-of-the-art brewing system and employs the latest brewing practices to deliver unique and original beer products using only the highest-quality ingredients. WeldWerks Brewing's culture is deeply rooted in five core values: dedication to quality, honest transparency, earnest candor, operational autonomy, and personal growth. These foundational principles guide not only the production process but also how the company fosters an environment where team members can thrive both personally and professionally. Recognized as a Great Place to Work in 2021, WeldWerks Brewing continues to pursue significant growth opportunities and aims to extend its positive impact within the craft beer community and beyond.

The Line Cook role at WeldWerks Brewing is a critical position within the company’s on-site restaurant concept, The Annex at WeldWerks. This dining experience is designed to complement the brewery’s dedication to superior product quality and experimentation. The Line Cook is responsible for crafting dishes that align with the brewery's high standards for quality, presentation, and creativity. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for those who are passionate about food and want to expand their culinary skills in a supportive and innovative environment. Team members in this position are encouraged to explore new culinary techniques, contribute creative ideas, and engage in continuous professional development. The position offers a starting pay of $17.00 per hour plus additional income from a monthly tip pool, which averaged an extra $3 per hour in recent years. The role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and operates under a non-exempt status.

As a Line Cook at WeldWerks Brewing, you will play an integral role in delivering an excellent guest experience by ensuring every meal served meets stringent quality and safety standards. Beyond executing menu items, this role calls for active participation in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting with inventory, and cross-training on multiple kitchen stations to promote flexibility and coverage. The brewery is looking for candidates who are not just employees but invested team members willing to provide input to improve kitchen operations and workflows. The ideal applicant exhibits strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, physically enduring kitchen duties such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 55 pounds, along with reliable transportation, are essential. WeldWerks Brewing’s supportive work environment and comprehensive benefits package—including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off—make it an attractive and rewarding workplace for culinary professionals looking to grow their careers.
