As a Heart of House Team Member, you will be responsible for executing all recipe procedures accurately and maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of the kitchen. Your dependable role ensures that food orders are processed continuously and communicated effectively to the rest of the team to guarantee smooth kitchen operations. The role requires collaboration, quick thinking, and a warm, friendly demeanor that supports a productive and enjoyable workplace culture. This position also provides a valuable platform for gaining experience in food preparation and kitchen operations which could lead to further advancement within the Chili’s family.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a similar food service environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines strictly

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food and beverage service and preparation preferred
  • Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors and other kitchen equipment
  • Friendly and warm demeanor with team members
  • Able to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Job Duties

  • Properly learn and execute all of our recipe procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen
  • Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Communicate ticket times to team members
  • Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen
