Job Requirements

  • Thursday through Monday availability is required
  • 2+ years experience in high-volume, scratch kitchens
  • Strong knife skills and cooking knowledge especially steaks and seafood
  • Fast-moving, focused, and dependable
  • Comfortable with fast-paced dinner service and ticket communication
  • Speaks and understands English (bilingual Spanish/English is a plus)
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long shifts
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Cook steaks, seafood, bruschetta, charcuterie, and bistro-style dishes with speed and precision
  • Work multiple stations (sauté, grill, fryer, salad station) as needed
  • Call back tickets and communicate clearly and calmly during service
  • Assist with prep: protein butchery, sauces, vegetable prep, and portioning and occasionally dishwashing/organizing (required)
  • Keep stations clean, stocked, and organized
  • Follow recipes and plating guides exactly - consistency is key
  • Participate in special events, prix-fixe dinners, and wine pairings
  • Contribute to a clean kitchen through end-of-shift breakdown and sanitation
