Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass pre-employment drug test

Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in kitchen roles such as line cook, prep cook, or similar

- Good time management and multitasking abilities

Job Duties
- Prepping ingredients including washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning meats and vegetables
- Setting up cooking stations with necessary tools and ingredients to ensure mise en place
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety protocols
- Cooking dishes using various techniques such as grilling, sautéing, frying, boiling, and baking
- Plating and presenting meals according to restaurant standards
- Managing timing to ensure dishes are cooked properly and served on schedule
- Reading and interpreting order tickets to prepare food accurately
- Coordinating timing and communication with other line cooks and kitchen staff
- Collaborating with team members including sous chefs, prep cooks, and front-of-house staff
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the station during and after service
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Following portion control guidelines to minimize food waste
- Accommodating dietary restrictions and special customer requests flexibly
- Adhering to health and safety standards and procedures
- Demonstrating strong culinary skills including knife handling and cooking methods
- Managing multiple orders simultaneously and working efficiently under pressure
- Adapting to fast-paced kitchen environment and handling last-minute changes
