Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years experience working as a prep/line cook in hotel, restaurant, country club or other similar industry
Ability to follow standardized recipes and dietary guidelines
Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work varied shifts including day and evening hours
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening required

Job Qualifications

At least 3 years experience working as a prep/line cook in hotel, restaurant, country club or other similar industry

Job Duties

Prepares all food and menu items according to Executive Chef guidance, standardized recipes and special dietary orders, including soups, appetizers, sides, and main dishes
Ensures consistent excellence in quality, temperature and presentation of all food
Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition
Complies with standards for personal hygiene and dress code
Knowledge of proper operation and maintenance of kitchen tools and equipment
Works collaboratively and cooperatively with FOH to provide quality services to our residents
