Job Requirements

  • Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
  • Marijuana not included on pre-hire drug screening
  • At least 3 years experience working as a prep/line cook
  • Ability to work full-time schedule
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Good personal hygiene and dress code compliance

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience working as a prep/line cook in hotel, restaurant, country club or other similar industry

Job Duties

  • Prepares all food and menu items according to Executive Chef guidance, standardized recipes and special dietary orders, including soups, appetizers, sides, and main dishes
  • Ensures consistent excellence in quality, temperature and presentation of all food
  • Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition
  • Complies with standards for personal hygiene and dress code
  • Knowledge of proper operation and maintenance of kitchen tools and equipment
  • Works collaboratively and cooperatively with front-of-house to provide quality services to residents
