These benefits highlight its dedication to the wellbeing and happiness of its team.As a Full-Service Line Cook at Lazy Dog, you will be immersed in a fast-paced kitchen environment where your culinary skills and attention to detail contribute directly to guest satisfaction. This role demands at least 2 to 5 years of experience working all stations within a busy kitchen line. You will be responsible for all aspects of your assigned cooking station, including setup, stocking, cooking, and presenting dishes per Lazy Dog’s exacting recipes and standards. The role requires a passionate commitment to quality, ensuring that only fresh, top-quality ingredients are used, and that food safety standards are strictly adhered to. You will also maintain an organized and clean workstation, follow all safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment, and actively communicate any concerns related to product, equipment, or food safety to your chef team. The ideal candidate will possess basic English or Spanish communication skills and embody qualities such as trust, passion, humility, and gracefulness, contributing to a respectful and collaborative team environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced cooking line
- Food handlers card in applicable states (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Basic English or Spanish communication skills
- Availability to work flexible schedules

Job Duties
- Accountable for all aspects of assigned cooking stations including set up, stock product, cook and present dishes according to Lazy Dog recipes
- Ensure only fresh high-quality ingredients are used when preparing all recipes
- Ensure the proper recipe is displayed on the monitor during preparation and cooking process
- Ensure proper recipe adherence when producing items
- Strive to never sell a dish that is not up to Lazy Dog Standards
- Follow food safety procedures, clean, sanitize and maintain equipment, utensils, and tools throughout kitchen
- Ensure proper use of PPE when applicable and follow all safety guidelines
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of cooking equipment for startup, shut down, maintenance, cleaning and repairing
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Alert chef team immediately of any product, equipment or food safety concerns
- Guest focused and able to multi-task
- Demonstrate basic English/Spanish communication skills
- Build lasting relationships with trust and respect
