This role is integral within our kitchen team, overseeing the preparation of menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and yield guides, and maintaining the organization and sanitation of the work environment. As a Line Cook Supervisor, you will assume a leadership role in directing, training, and monitoring the performance of line cooks. Your responsibilities will include preparing and assigning production and prep work to ensure timely and quality completion. You will oversee the setup and breakdown of workstations, making sure that all tools, equipment, and supplies are ready for operations and that closing duties are completed efficiently. Communication will be key as you coordinate with the Sous Chef and team members regarding supply needs and any changes that occur during shifts. Your role will require a keen eye for detail, food safety knowledge, and strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to motivate your team and maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health regulations. This position requires dedication, a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a line cook in a hotel, resort, or restaurant setting and possess a valid food handling certification. Job Duties
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides
- Directs, trains, and monitors performance of line cooks
- Maintains organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment

- Review priorities and communicate additions or changes to assignments during shifts
- Set up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies
- Breakdown work stations and complete closing duties
- Inform the sous chef of supply needs
