The Haywire & The Ranch brand is proud to announce the opening of a new restaurant in La Cantera, scheduled for October 2024. Our establishment embodies the spirit of Texas with a strong commitment to farm-to-fork dining and chef-driven, locally sourced cuisine. We are currently seeking a talented Line Cook to join our team who shares our passion for hospitality and culinary excellence. As a Line Cook at The Haywire & The Ranch, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding dining experience to every guest. This position requires a Texas-sized hustle combined with attention to detail, ensuring that each menu item is prepared perfectly and presented thoughtfully. Our line cooks are true experts in cooking techniques and menu builds, and they uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation within the kitchen environment. The successful candidate will embrace the balance of Texas hospitality and kitchen efficiency, inspiring teammates and maintaining a productive work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years line cook experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand tickets and recipes
  • Stand for long periods
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Properly use a knife and other kitchen equipment
  • Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification
  • Be at least 18 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • Steak house experience a plus
  • Ability to read and understand tickets and recipes
  • Knowledge of proper knife skills and kitchen equipment use
  • Maintain current Food Handler's Certification
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

  • Prepare menu items according to company recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
