Job Requirements
- be at least eighteen years of age
- possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health
- demonstrate skills knowledge and competency in leadership training and supervision
- have proficient written and oral communication skills with management professional and support staff
- be active and able to stand walk bend kneel and stoop throughout the day
- be able to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- be comfortable in close contact with extreme temperatures including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers
- have the ability to work primarily indoors and be available to work outside for events
- be criminally cleared
- be able to read write understand and communicate in English

Job Duties
- prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
- provide exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion
- ensure health protocols are always followed including proper hygiene sanitary food preparation and proper food temperatures
- familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences and needs
- participate in resident orientations
- stand walk bend kneel and stoop throughout the day
- lift and move items up to 50 pounds frequently
