Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Food safety certification required or ability to obtain
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to wear protective equipment including non-slip shoes and apron
  • Ability to follow sanitation and food safety protocols
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to work in hot, cold or slippery conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and timely
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, tools, and safe operating procedures
  • Ability to perform required duties in emergency situations
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role and work effectively in a kitchen environment
  • Food safety certification required or ability to obtain per local regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items to order for member and guest service, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal health and food safety regulations
  • Operate, clean and maintain kitchen equipment and machinery safely according to established procedures
  • Execute high-volume batch cooking as well as individual à la carte and to-go orders with consistency and quality
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate timing, accuracy and flow of food orders
  • Requisition ingredients and supplies necessary for daily production
  • Demonstrate knowledge of proper and artful plate presentation
