Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current food handler's permit
  • One year of relevant experience
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical strength to lift 10 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress kitchen environment
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of kitchen or cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food items, culinary terms, and kitchen equipment
  • Skill in interpersonal communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift 10 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to adapt to high-stress environments

Job Duties

  • Prepares all menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Supports brand by maintaining food quality and presentation
  • Sets up and stocks station at beginning of shift
  • Monitors and manages temperature of food and cooking equipment
  • Maintains cleanliness and condition of kitchen equipment
  • Assists management and cooks during high-volume periods
  • Coordinates timing of food preparation with other line cooks and front line expeditor
  • Cleans and restocks station at end of shift
  • Completes janitorial tasks
  • Demonstrates teamwork and communicates effectively
  • Ensures workplace safety and harassment-free environment
  • Adheres to sanitary and safe food handling practices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
