Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some college level courses
- One year of cooking experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Understanding of company policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some college level courses
- One year of experience in Asian, Italian, or casual cooking in a specialty restaurant preferred
- Full knowledge of company and department rules, policies, and procedures
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
Job Duties
- Setting up and breaking down various cooking stations
- Filling supply requisitions for stocking cooking stations
- Assisting other cooks with tasks such as grilling, wok cooking, sautéing, stirring soups, monitoring roasts and broiled items
- Preparing chopped vegetables for sauce preparation
- Observing, learning, and performing all kitchen duties across phases of kitchen operations
- Greeting and assisting team members courteously
