This venture is a sophisticated reimagining of the classic casino steakhouse, blending mid-century modern nostalgia with contemporary design, technology, and culinary techniques. The expansive 14,500 square foot property features an exclusive steakhouse named Carversteak, which boasts a grand bar and lounge area, a luxurious main dining room, and a vast terrace with an outdoor bar and dining spaces. Guests can enjoy lush lounge gardens with views overlooking the iconic Las Vegas Strip. The main dining area is enhanced by a cutting-edge digital art program and a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system that dynamically adjusts to set the perfect ambiance throughout the evening.
Carversteak is celebrated for its menu, which includes dry-aged American steaks sourced from artisan beef producers and Japanese-certified Wagyu steaks. The line cook role at Carver Road Hospitality is central to maintaining the high standards of culinary excellence that the brand represents. This position offers an exciting opportunity for passionate culinary professionals to contribute to a dynamic team, producing exceptional dishes with a focus on quality, consistency, and creativity. The line cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food items efficiently and professionally, ensuring all dishes meet the stringent specifications of Carversteak’s menu. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, interact respectfully with team members and supervisors, and uphold the company’s commitment to hospitality and customer satisfaction.
This full-time position requires a team player who thrives in a busy kitchen environment and is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. The role involves handling dietary restrictions and allergy considerations carefully, following orders accurately from the POS system, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the recipes and cooking techniques specific to their station, communicate effectively with chefs and support staff, and actively participate in service meetings and opening and closing procedures. Job Requirements
- One year prior steakhouse fine dining experience preferred
- ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
- ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- capability to perform repetitive tasks
- willingness to work in hot kitchen environment and handle cleaning materials
- flexibility to work varying shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- One year prior steakhouse fine dining experience preferred
- certified Food Handler
- effective communication skills

Job Duties
- Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
- accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with health department
- possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
- communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
- required to check cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets
- properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
- reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
- portrays a positive and professional attitude
- thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
