Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work standing for a minimum of eight hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 150 pounds daily
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Compliance with health and safety standards
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and company procedures accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Positive attitude and reliability

Job Duties

  • Arrive punctually with a positive attitude and in proper uniform
  • Work with a sense of urgency
  • Adhere to Health Department and Columbus Brewing Company standards and protocols
  • Complete opening and closing checklists, prep lists, and line checks
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic station
  • Prepare orders meticulously and promptly correct any mistakes
  • Ensure high-quality presentation of dishes
  • Assist other stations including expo and dish
  • Ensure freshness of each order and follow FIFO rotation
  • Communicate any needs to management and team members
  • Immediately report any guest issues to a Manager or Manager Assistant
