We are currently seeking passionate and energetic culinary professionals to join our back-of-house team and help push our culinary vision forward. The position available is Line Cook & Culinary Artisan, a pivotal role that combines the precision and discipline of executing high-volume menus with the creative flair required to contribute to our evolving menu. This is not your typical kitchen role where one merely follows orders; instead, we want team members who actively bring excitement, energy, and inspiration each shift.

As a Line Cook & Culinary Artisan at Bel Air Social, you will be responsible for executing a premium menu that spans smash burgers, artisanal pizzas, and innovative counter features. Precision in following established recipes and ensuring the highest standards of presentation are critical to your success. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to infuse your creative ideas into daily specials and plating, elevating the guest experience and aligning with our brand’s high-end, experiential atmosphere.

You will be the heart of the kitchen energy, bringing a positive and infectious vibe to every shift. Our kitchen thrives on momentum and teamwork, and the ideal candidate will reflect this by maintaining ownership of their station, whether it involves stretching dough, manning the grill, or prepping fresh ingredients with the utmost care. Upholding food safety and sanitation protocols is also a fundamental responsibility to ensure our patrons receive only the best.

We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, along with comprehensive benefits such as dental, health, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid training, and employee discounts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of experience in a culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen
  • ability to work in person
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • must be dependable and punctual
  • ability to follow precise culinary specifications

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience working a hot line, grill, or pizza station in a high-volume or premium hospitality concept
  • ability to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Understand, master, and strictly follow established recipes and presentation standards for both Bel Air Burgers and Pizza Via
  • bring a creative eye to daily specials, menu execution, and plating
  • bring a positive, infectious, and exciting energy to the kitchen and the counter
  • maintain complete ownership of your station including stretching dough, managing the grill, or prepping fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • support teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment
  • adapt quickly to changing menu demands and guest needs
